it does occur much less frequently in 2.2.12, but I suffered from it a few
times (unless editing /usr/src/linux/net/ipx/af_ipx.c).
I've got a mail saying that in 2.2.13-pre1 it is fixed, but I was
recently a bit short of time so I did not try that...
