Kernel 2.3.21 bombs out on the compile with the magic sysrq thingie...

--------------------------------------------
kernel/kernel.o(.data+0x1460): undefined reference to `sysrq_enabled'
drivers/char/char.o: In function `handle_scancode':
drivers/char/char.o(.text+0x6462): undefined reference to `sysrq_enabled'
make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1
--------------------------------------------

Sorry, I can't give any suggestions as to how to fix this because I
have only just started to teach myself C. With that said, if you can
explain the above (or fix it) would you mind emailing me the how's and
why's. Thanks.
