Hello,
I'm new to this list. I hope I've posted this in the correct area. Using
SuSE 6.2 (Kernel 2.2.10), I'm having trouble getting the correct kernel
components to work with my ATAPI ZIP. I've not used ATAPI-FLOPPY, but
rather SCSI emulation and SCSI generic. During booting, I get the
following

<< snip

Symbols match kernel version 2.2.10.

Can anyone tell me what the MEDUIM ERROR means and how do I correct it? If
I try to mount the ZIP manually, I get a "Can't read block device" error
messgae. When I shutdown, all the filesystems seem to hang and won't
unmount.

I've tried a variety of fstab entries for /dev/sda4 /zip ......
and I have a /zip folder.

Thanks
