Hello,

updating to lilo-0.21-10.i386.rpm, included in redhat 6.1 from
lilo-0.21-6.i386.rpm of redhat 6.0 solved my problem.

Got a hint to put mem=112M on LILO boot prompt- worked fine, no problems at
all. So it seems to be lilo (thank you, Nathan). As Im using a redhat 6
clone with lilo-0.21-6.i386.rpm and redhat 6.1 seems to have a slightly
newer version (lilo-0.21-10.i386.rpm) I tried it and everything is fine.
This is reproducable, deinstalling LILO and installing lilo-0.21-6.i386.rpm
gives the problem again, updating to later version solves again.

Thanks a lot
