2.3.33 config.in error

This has been here at least since 2.3.31.

On a K6:
tar -xzvf linux-2.3.33.tar.gz
cd linux
make xconfig (No changes to anything!)
"Save and exit"
....
ERROR - Attempting to write value for unconfigured variable
(CONFIG_PCMCIA_SERIAL_CS).
ERROR - Attempting to write value for unconfigured variable
(CONFIG_PCMCIA_SERIAL_CB).
