[PATCH] small and not very important

Hi Linus,

Could you please apply the patch below (againt 2.3.33). It just
removes the "cld" instructions added to apm.c in 2.3.33 as these
sections of code have __save_flags/__restore_flags around them
which will presever the direction flag anyway.
