Hi,

You asked recently:

> how can I prove that I triggered a kernel memory leak?

Andrea Arcangeli (of SuSE) maintains a set of useful tools which includes
memory leak detection stuff. The latest patch can be found at:

ftp://ftp.us.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/andrea/ikd/v2.3/2.3.33-ikd2.bz2
