VGA can't work with 2.2.14p15

Hi:
i installed 2.2.14pre15 but after printing "ok, uncompress kernel
...",
the monitor can't work any more. the screen can't display any character,

just some color zones. but linux can boot successfully, and when
entering
level 4, the graphics mode is ok.
