2.3.35pre6 boot failure, PCI problems

Hello all,

As the subject line says, 2.3.35pre6 will not boot on my machine. The
boot process fails during PCI initialization. The last three lines
printed on the screen are:

The system in question is a Dell Latitude CPi D266XT Laptop inserted into
a docking station. It boots and works find under all 2.2.x kernel
versions (up to and including 2.2.14pre14).
