a lame server is a server reported by another server to be authoritative for a
zone but for which zone it only resounding non-authoritatively. You can turn
off this messages -- consult the docs for which ever version of bind you are
using.
In my 8.2.2 named.conf I have:
logging {
...
category lame-servers { null; };
...
};
And the lame logging messages are into the ozone (or somewhere else, but not
in any log.
