      I forgot to say that I did a really stupid kernel patch for 2.0.X
      kernel series that allow you to get this info.
      (It works like SIOGIFCONF, ifconf{} ioctl calls and so on, obviously
      I define a new ioctl call, a new struct etc etc).

      Never really tested that patch well (since Andi Kleen told me that
      this patch is useless since 2.0.X kernels series are too old and 2.2
      has netlink socket IIRC :)), however if you are interested in, just
      let me know :)

bye bye
