Im trying to tell you (without popping a vein) that its NOT compaqs driver,
it is Intels. Intel has changed the license on it recently..mainly because
they came out with a FreeBSD driver with a BSD license.

The driver compiles as a module and installs, so who gives a rats arse if
its "officially" in the kernel or not?
