I have 2 networks: and connected by a router. I am
sitting on a computer with an IP of and I want to send a
broadcast to the network. Now, by rule routers will drop all
packets for, so I send out a packet to (subnet
directed broadcast). This packet is not getting through and I was wondering
if there are any special kernel options that need to be turned on to allow
this to happen? (the router IS working, I can ping, ftp, ssh, etc...)
