Hello,

It seems that there is something wrong with "sent an invalid ICMP type"
mesage since the "[IPV4]: Be more verbose about invalid ICMPs sent to
broadcast" (~2003-06-23) patch.

# tcpdump -i eth0 -n icmp
tcpdump: listening on eth0
14:24:54.236365 192.168.0.108 > 192.168.0.230: icmp: net 192.168.3.255 unreachable (DF)

Before 2.4.22-pre2:
192.168.0.108 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast.

After 2.4.22-pre2:
192.168.0.230 sent an invalid ICMP type 3, code 0 error to a broadcast: 192.168.3.255 on eth0

uname -a:
Linux nannou 2.4.22-pre3 #1 Wed Jul 9 17:24:09 CEST 2003 i686 unknown

Best Regards,
