We have a printer attached to a machine (206.23.50.22) and it works
fine. We want to print from fhunix (206.23.50.20) to the above printer,
but get the following message:

fhunix: waiting for queue to be enabled on 206.23.50.22
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
1st root 5 printcap 2506 bytes

/usr/sbin/lpd: lp: Host name for your address (206.23.50.20) unknown

What does the error message in the last line mean and how do I correct
it?

We have set up the /etc/printcap file to send it to the remote printer,
but may have made an error somewhere.

/etc/printcap for machine with printer (fhudns, 206.23.50.22): (and it
works to print locally):

lp|panasonic:lp=/dev/lp1:sd=/usr/spool/lpd:lf=/dev/console:mc#1:\
ft=$$c$$p$$r$$f:hl#2:fl#3:ht=$$c$$n$$r$$t:sh:

/etc/printcap for machine w/o printer (fhunix, 206.23.50.20):

lp|panasonic:\
:sd=/usr/spool/lpd:\
:rm=fhudns:\
:rp=panasonic:\
:lp=/dev/null:\
:sh:

Thanks for all your help,
Brian Clifford
