Samba problem

I've just upgraded to libc6 (Ugh, that wasn't fun) and Samba 2.0.3, and I'm
having a problem: Whenever I run Samba, I get in the log files:

lib/util.c:get_myname(1729)
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host joshua
...
lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_in(639)
Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host joshua

Now, I realize what this means, for some reason Samba is ignoring the fact
that I tell it what my hostname should be (dhcp-68-245), and it's using a
system call that isn't checking /etc/hosts (Which has my computer's current
IP, as well as the aliases to it, etc). I think it's using gethostbyname(3),
which clearly states that it will try /etc/hosts. Of course, if you try to
strace the daemon, it forks before it tries to get the hostname, so you don't
get any relevant information.

Anyone else run into this problem? I looked on DejaNews, and one other person
has the same problem also, but he just posted about it today and didn't get a
response yet.
