Re: mounting win95/nt drives

Under RH5.2, the following easily brings you some
silly "windows" files:

mkdir /e # only needed once in a lifetime

mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /e

Then you can see the silly "windows" stuff via

ls /e

and so on.
You need to make sure your C: drive is indeed
/dev/hda1 to Linux (usually is), you can check via
fdisk or RH's disk druid (recommended). Just
don't change or save any partitions if you don't
have to.

Now, NT's NTFS file system is a whole different
can of worms... HTH,
