I have installed Redhat 6.0, which is using knfsd package for NFS stuff.

/nfs/rxksun/home/rxk
<rxk@compaqcl3 5:22pm> 9: rpm -qa | grep nfs
knfsd-1.2.2-4

/nfs/rxksun/home/rxk
<rxk@compaqcl3 5:22pm> 10: rpm -ql knfsd
/etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs
/sbin/rpcdebug
/usr/man/man5/exports.5
/usr/man/man8/exportfs.8
/usr/man/man8/nfsstat.8
/usr/man/man8/rquotad.8
/usr/sbin/exportfs
/usr/sbin/nfsstat
/usr/sbin/nhfsstone
/usr/sbin/rpc.mountd
/usr/sbin/rpc.nfsd
/usr/sbin/rpc.rquotad
/usr/sbin/rpc.statd
/var/lib/nfs
/var/lib/nfs/rmtab
/var/lib/nfs/xtab

The problem is it won't startup the rpc.nfsd daemon. Without which I
cannot mount filesystem from other clients to this
Linux machine.

When I try to start NFS service it gives following error(and won't start
rpc.nfsd processes)

[rxk@compaqcl3 rxk]$ /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/S60nfs start
Starting NFS
services:
[ OK ]
Starting NFS statd:
Starting NFS quotas:
Starting NFS mountd:
Starting NFS daemon:
nfssvc: Function not implemented

[FAILED]

Any help??

Rajeev
