SMC EPIC100 and 2.2.x ?

Hi all !

>From Becker's web page, I can see that the 1.05 version of
the epic100.c driver is the first to add support for the 2.2.x
kernels.

However, the 2.2.10 kernel seems to come with release 1.04 of
the driver. And, the driver is ``experimental'' in the new
kernels.

Why isn't version 1.05 or 1.06 of the epic100.c driver in the
2.2.x kernels ? It seems like an oversight, but if there is
any good reason for it, I'd be happy to know about it.
