i just had a look at my /etc/conf.modules file and it looks like
#cat /etc/conf.modules
alias eth0 ne
options ne io=0x340 irq=5

you might want to try something like that, i think i would be trying

alias eth0 ne
options ne io=0x300 irq=3

in your case
