We are using Interpacket Espresso Simplex Service. The bandwidth is 128
kbps. Does any body at the list know that how the traffic is managed by
using this technology. We have a link of 128 kbps with local
Telecommunications Company in our country for connectivity with global
Ineternet. I heard that all the uploading is done from the circuit with
your local Telecommunications Company and down loading is done through
Satellite link. The question is how the traffic in managed, there are two
paths one for uploading and other for downloading and when the
downloading bandwidth is full in use can the uploading bandwidth be
used for downloading at this time.

Does this technology is suitable for besides ftp and http or there is no
restriction at protocols.

I am interested in understanding the all functional aspects (how this
technology works), because the web site of Interpacket does not have any
usefull information.

Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Arshad Mahmood.
