- Yes, "extracted while probing" is no longer accurate.
Maybe add a comment explaining that the exponent is constant.
Maybe even use a define ? That would make struct aps_379_data
unnecessary.

- Rejecting virtual registers: Why indeed ? Is there a reason ?
