AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX: TSC synchronization failure with ~9.3 billion cycle warp on Lenovo Legion R9000P ADR10

I am seeing a reproducible TSC synchronization failure on a Lenovo Legion R9000P ADR10 (83LV) with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX.

On every boot, Linux detects a very large TSC warp between CPU 0 and CPU 1, marks TSC unstable, and falls back to HPET:

The issue is reproducible across reboots and has persisted across multiple clean Arch Linux installations.

I previously used the Arch Linux LTS kernel and observed the same TSC synchronization failure and fallback to HPET there as well. Therefore, the issue does not appear to be specific to Linux 7.2.6 or to the current Arch Linux installation.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the exact LTS kernel version or the old boot logs because those installations have since been removed.

The current kernel taint value is:

12288

This is caused by the NVIDIA driver:

nvidia: loading out-of-tree module taints kernel.
nvidia: module verification failed: signature and/or required key missing - tainting kernel

The TSC synchronization failure occurs during early boot, before the NVIDIA driver is relevant to clocksource selection.

I have not forced tsc=reliable, clocksource=tsc, or disabled HPET. I have left the kernel's automatic fallback to HPET unchanged.

I have not tested a current mainline/RC kernel yet. The system is currently running the Arch Linux 7.2.6 kernel. However, as mentioned above, I have previously reproduced the same behavior using an Arch Linux LTS kernel and across multiple clean installations.

A complete kernel boot log from the affected system is available and I can provide it if needed.
