I reworked these in v14 patch 10. cxl_setup_regs() remains before the 
hdm_map checks because it populates that map; I added a comment there. 
The patch also documents the register-block size check, uses 
kzalloc_flex() after validation, returns the cache pointer directly, 
unwinds in reverse order, and explains the cache publication and release 
steps.
