What is ao?
AO is the Always-On domain on Amlogic SoCs (remains powered in suspend).
I've documented it in the binding description.
Does that mean your a9 SoC has TWO I3C controller variants?
And what is btw the name of the SoC? A9? Then why is it at the end? Do
you see such pattern anywhere?
A9, with integrated two I3C controller, is the SoC name rather than the controller name. I agree it may be confusing in DT bindings. I'll rename it to:
amlogic,a9-i3c
amlogic,a9-ao-i3c
Best regards,
Krzysztof
