OOPS: pre4-4 crashes in shm/vfs with sound and Xfree3.3.6

Hi, I have a UP PPro, glibc 2.1.3, and gcc 2.95.2-7 (Debian). I also
have XFree 3.3.6-3, and these oopses with pre4-4. pre4-2 is fine. I
have SB16 sound card.
