Wow! Comparing this to mine,

the code has so much in common, it's almost scary!
Differences that I saw were:
* You used a misc device which is neater (which I didn't get around to yet)
* You embed code in the kernel for symbols which I haven't done
* You also embed the blank_key support
* Your daemon targets at keyboard mouse support [a nice FunKey application!]
* Your patch is for 2.1.90, mine for 2.2.14
We obviously have the same goal in mind. You mentioned that you disliked the
CTRL+ALT+DEL handling as a special case, I (wrongly) made a similar statement
about SysRq.
Why is your patch not part of the Linux tree?
>From the reactions I've gotten now, it seems people on average like the idea
of FunKeys [I hope I won't be fried for this cautious conclusion].
