All are unique by default, but you can usually set the address to
whatever you wish, and indeed, some high-availability ideas suggest
using this mutability.
So, yes, it's possible to do this on the same machine, but is it ever
useful? If not, then addresses are a great index, assuming you're never
changing addresses willy-nilly.
