I downloaded 2.2.16pre2 and put it on my SMP machine (dual 500 Mhz
Pentium-III's, 256 megabytes of memory, dual channel Adaptec 7896 scsi
controller on the motherboard, 3 ultra2 disks on the first chain, 3
ultra disks + TEAC 24/6x CD-R + HP DAT3 on the second chain, Adaptec
2930 scsi controller with a Umax 1220S scanner on its chain, Redhat
6.2 installed, kernel built with egcs 2.95.2). I find that when I
invoke xcdroast to copy a CD to a raw disk partition, I get:

        BLKRAGET: Invalid argument

I don't get this error with 2.2.15 or with 2.3.99-pre6.
