I just copied the content of a cd onto the disk, the first thing I noticed
was that the machine was slowing down ALOT! the mouse cursor under X hacked
its was across the screen.
Later this came up:
May 22 09:24:58 kenny kernel: eth0: card reports no resources.
May 22 09:25:28 kenny last message repeated 7 times
May 22 09:26:23 kenny last message repeated 16 times
May 22 09:27:25 kenny last message repeated 19 times
May 22 09:28:31 kenny last message repeated 20 times
May 22 09:29:24 kenny last message repeated 17 times
Ive posted before regarding just that message but this seams to be a real
resource/interrup error.
The load went from a normal 1.0 to 4.0! and the computer was almost unusable
while I copied the cd.
The cdrom was a normal IDE and Ive never had this problem before (only had 2.2.15
for 2-3 weeks now).
What could be the cause for this? I sure dont want everything to halt while I
copy a cd.
