Is the dead function elimination patch already fold in, or are you going
to have it so soon?
points I see:
- compile time does not increase significantly (now that that bug is
fixed)
- it makes good both architecturally (less ifdefs) and IRL (smaller
kernels, unneeded functions left out)
- seems to be tested well-enough
