But what do you win by requiring an NDA for the actual firmware?
Nothing, people can still just upload crap to the drive.
The NDA is on how you upload firmware to the drive. That's why the
firmware uploader is a binary-only distribution. The actual firmware is
available on Plextor Europe's web page for free downloading.....
