Hi,

I mounted an IDE partition, copied one big file, and umounted. Oops
is attached.

I/O is still horrible in the latest kernel. Copying this one 650MB
file from one partition to another saw lots of page outs although
I had nothing running besides that. The system felt very sluggish
while doing it. When the page cache was filled, it starting paging
out and I ended up with 10MB in swap.
