I see! That's why I couldn't reproduce in any way the warning messages
here (the only two blockdevices that could reproduce them were compaq
smart and dac960). Patch is obviously right, thanks!
Glad to hear that you concur.
Side note (now that the cause of the warning message is known): the waring
messages was harmless and they couldn't cause any fs corruption on disk.
Indeed. Hopefully with this problem resolved we can disable the debugging code
soon as it could impact performance measurements or benchmarks where I/O
performance is an issue.
