Please check traps.c where DO_ERROR is used for xmm_fault. Why is it giving
you a link error?

YOU WROTE:
Hi,
In 2.4.0-test1 i386 exception 19 handler cache_flush_denied was
replacee by xmm_fault.
xmm_fault is defined in arch/i386/kernel/entry.S as
+ENTRY(xmm_fault)
+ pushl $0
+ pushl $ SYMBOL_NAME(do_xmm_fault)
+ jmp error_code
+
I couldn't find definition of do_xmm_fault.
