German c't magazine writes in their news article covering ATA/100 that
this will probably be the last incarnation of Ultra-ATA. So this is a
dead end when it comes to "upgradeabilty". SCSI, however, can easily
migrate to even higher speed, because it essentially is only a command
set (and one that is used for usb storage and ATAPI devices, too, IIRC).
