I've got a Dell Inspiron 5000 laptop. On the text VTs, apm screen
blanking turns off the LCD just fine. On the VT that X is running on,
this doesn't happen. Unfortunately X can't seem to turn off the LCD,
and there is no BIOS settings to make it happen by itself.
Is there some way I can get the apm blanking to happen on the X vt?
