Ok.. so I went and checked, and what has happened, is version 3.1.11
used to use the v2.3/v2.4 kernel pcmcia support, and didn't use dave's
stuff.
That has changed in v3.1.16, and now dave's stuff works again with
v2.4.0test kernels.
So, compile the kernel with pcmcia support _off_, and use
pcmcia-cs-3.1.16 is the correct answer.
