I'm seeing this here as well, although under a slightly different setup:
ext2 on RAID5 over an aic7xxx on a 4 CPU box, with / on a Compaq SMART2.
I can't seem to trigger it on a single CPU box with an aic7xxx + RAID
setup; maybe I'm just not pushing hard enough.
