i think the current AGP spec doens't support multiple devices
so cards that have more than one chip (i.e. rage fury maxx or voodoo5)
have to do some trickery. the v5 runs in PCI mode but the ATi gets around it by

tricking the OS into seeing each chip as a seperate device - one AGP the other
PCI.
