system = 2.2.4-test4, red hat 6.2
summary = gcc fail when compiling software. switch to 2.2.4-test1, recompile
and it works fine. message cut-and-past from /var/log/message below. On one
occasion, it say something like "gcc caught signal 11". this is a an 4-year
P166 machine. Probably hardware related but I am not sure. ;
