I am still having a problem with the way RAM is detected in the newer 2.4
kernels, and having INITRD_START being placed above physical memory.
My distro goes out on a lot of older 486's and previously we had no problems,
but now it seems that with the 2.4 kernels, I get a problem with INITRD_START
being placed above the memory top. Never had a problem in the earlier
kernels, so is there any way I can find out WHY the changes to the RAM size
detection have occurred, and if this is intentional, or is something that has
slipped into the kernel. Or maybe I still am not clear or the precise
problem here, and maybe I always had memory detection problems, but the
INITRD_START wasn't in such a critical location :-o)
