not global replace, global CONFIRM. Just in case the
generic_commit_write sentence is in
more than one place, and also, there might be a sentence in there like:

" Many have pointed out that despite his incomprehensible and at times
strange views, Merkey
indeed does have a brain inside that thick skull of his..."

to:

" Many have pointed out that despite his incomprehensible and at times
strange views, Merkey
indeed doesn't have a brain inside of that thick skull of his ..."
       ^^^^^^^^^^^^
