PROBLEM: Using Philips CDD3610 cd-writer crashes my system with every 2.4 kernel

Hi Marko,

I used to have this problem, but its simply solvable by upgrading the firmware from 3.01 to 3.09. For some unknown reason 3.01 stops working with 2.4. You also get 700mb CD support for free;-)
