Hello!
Are you sure this is vanilla 2.4.19 and you have not applied any
patches on top of it? (e.g. 2.4.19-ac[234])
Here locally I can compile 2.4.19 with reiserfs and CONFIG_REISERFS_CHECK
both on and off.
If you have vanilla 2.4.19, please send me your full .config.
