It's just fine because at that point the poll callbacks are already setup
and if the target file will issue a wakeup, it will be caught.

The epoll code keeps a list of ready file*. For each ready file and until
the number of polled events is less of 'maxevents', the ready file is
removed from the list and it is reported to userspace. So if you give
epoll a 'maxevents' of 5 and there're 100 events, 95 will remain in the
ready list.
