Kurt Garloff <garloff@xxxxxxx>
and Guennadi Liakhovetski <g.liakhovetski@xxxxxx>
have made some recent patches for this driver.
It was discussed on the linux-scsi@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx mailing list.

Kurt, Guennadi:  Is there a current patch posted somewhere?
