Keyboard still gets interrupt (CAPS lock led), but nothing happens. Like

initramfs-search-for-init.patch
That patch may be freeing initmem before you get to prepare_namespace()
It looks like this patch initramfs-search-for-init.patch has been
mis-applyed when creating 2.6.5-rc2-mm1. At least the resulting code I
have in my source tree is not what I should get with the patch applied
(as far as I can read patch directly). Will try to apply it by hand...
