Hi Ingo,
I've rediffed O5 agains 2.6.8-rc4-mm1-staircase. It compiles and boots
for me when using voluntary-preempt=1; 2 and 3 lock up the system right
after the line: 'Probing IDE interface ide1...' (dmesg & .config
included).
