Hello,

I am having the same kind of troubles (can't tune and mt_set_frequency -121 errors) since 2.6.10 (it was working in 2.6.9) on amd64.
this patch did not help sadely.

log files attached if you have time to look at them :) (the non-working one being 2.6.11-rc3+your patch)

Thanks, seems to be a initialization order bug which changes the default
state of the tda9887 output ports. The patch below should fix that.
